What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
1) Football because of West Ham obviously.
2) Cricket you can drink most of the day and take your beer to your seat.
3) Boxing the fear in Mike Tysons opponents eyes as they made the walk to the ring.
4)Rugby Union beating the Aussies on their manor in 2003 to win the World Cup.
5) Horse Racing watching your horse win.

Football, cycling, golf, squash and athletics.

Have hugely enjoyed participating in those sports and still play golf.

Re: What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
1) Football - Watched and played it all my life, not really sure what I’d do without it.
2) Golf - Great to watch, brilliant to play. The Ryder Cup is as good as it gets.
3) Athletics - Love watching the major championships especially.
4) Darts - So entertaining to watch on telly. Live has become too popular now with most ‘fans’ not even knowing what’s going on.
5) Boxing - The Benn/Eubank/Watson era was the best but there’s nothing better than watching a cracking fight between two greats.

1) football (playing and watching);
2) table tennis (playing);
3) squash (playing);
4) bowls (playing);
5) tennis (watching).

Last two are just to make up the list - they're not that important in my life.

Re: What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
Football: Proper game growing up. Changed a bit but still couldn’t kick it if I tried

First class cricket: love the ebb and flow of a first class match.

NFL: for me it’s the ultimate team sport. Some of them never even touch the ball and all their game is, is to help the skill players

Rugby Union: only internationals though

To be honest with the exception of Tennis I’ll watch most sports.

Re: What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
1, Cricket (watching and playing even though I wasn't very good).
2. Football (West Ham, was a terrible footballer)
3. Rugby union (watching and playing - was actually a quite handy open side but three concussions, two out cold, in three months told me to stop).
4. Cycling. I find watching a bunch of people struggling up mountains strangely relaxing.
5. Motor sport, jealousy basically.

Re: What are your 5 (or more) LEAST favourite sports and why?
1) Cricket, I’d rather watch paint dry, or grass growimg.

2) Horse racing, see Cricket.

3) Cycling, see cricket & horse racing

4) Any woman’s sport.

5) American football, absolute shite hype about feck all.

Re: What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
1. Badminton - I was bloody good at it... nowadays the support would probably be there to pursue it but the shitty comprehensive that I attended had no delusions of grandeur for their pupils.

2. Pool - Some of my happiest memories when life didn't seem so hectic were long afternoons and late evenings playing pool. Soho was my favourite place but try finding a place with a table around there nowadays.

3. Swimming - I like being in the water.

4. Boxing - I used to enjoy a late night lock-in at a pub to watch the boxing or at a snooker club with a late licence.

5. Football - I wasn't bad at it...passing, set pieces and long range shooting were my strengths - heading, tackling, pace not so good - so I wouldn't be able to help our current midfield...

Re: What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
CrossFit - it is the ultimate test of fitness. The female competition is the best as the rankings are so close. I love doing the training too.

Football - West Ham and Wales. Too many years of heartbreak in my youth caused by England. I play on Sundays and train on Thursdays. I wouldn't give it up for the world.

UFC - Connor MacGregor has made this sport.

Boxing - I think Tyson is going to make the heavyweight division exciting again.

Tennis - I enjoy playing this, not so much watching.

Re: What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
Football - even though i hate watching it, can't not say it.

Thai boxing - love the ceremony around it, the brutality, the way fights always speed up rather than slow down. Watching it live is immense.

Boxing - as a casual viewer it's exciting. Never been one to get involved in the politics like many do.

Basketball - the pace and energy. Exciting as fuck.

Bowls - watched it being played for the first time ever last weekend. It was literally a load of old blokes getting pissed and arguing and chucking balls around. Fantastic stuff. Gonna make a habit of it.

Re: What are your 5 (or more) favourite sports and why?
Oh yeah, and strongman stuff.

Don't give a fuck what anyone says.

Watching a human being perform at that level is awe inspiring.

Most of these blokes (and women) are already genetic freaks but the level of training they do is unreal as well.

Most competitors hold down normal jobs as well and are pretty regular people.
